Markerstudy partners with Treeapp to plant 7,000 trees across the UK.

Markerstudy Staff Planting Trees 2

Markerstudy Group is proud to announce a new partnership with Treeapp – one of the UK’s leading tree planting organisations. The group has planted 7,000 trees, one for every colleague, as part of its ongoing pledge to help create a positive environmental impact and support local communities.

Over the last month, volunteers from the group have successfully planted over 12 indigenous species across three locations in Tunbridge Wells and one in Doncaster. One of the sites in Tunbridge Wells was Adamswell Scout Campsite, where Markerstudy has planted 2,300 saplings. The variety of trees were specifically chosen to foster biodiversity, contributing to the ecological health of the area and helping to protect and preserve the local habitat.

Tanya Gerrard-White, chief people officer at Markerstudy, said: “I had the pleasure of volunteering at the campsite and meeting the Treeapp team. Their work to help improve the world we live in is incredible and it was amazing to see this initiative brought to life. We’re excited to see our trees grow strong and thrive, and learning about the positive impact they will have was truly rewarding.”

Jules Buker, the founder of Treeapp, added: “It was a pleasure to meet the team at Markerstudy during this visit. We’re thrilled to see the Markerstudy Forest grow and excited by the difference these trees will make to the local community.”

Mark Leeves, representing Tunbridge Wells District Scouts, commented: “I would like to thank Treeapp and Markerstudy for organising and funding the tree planting and fencing on our site. We’ll make sure to care for the trees and ensure they continue to flourish.”
