Together with our colleagues, we are committed to making a positive difference to our local communities.
We pride ourselves in providing a safe and inclusive environment for all, as well as facilitating skill development and encouraging colleagues to participate in volunteering opportunities and access wellbeing resources.
Social inclusion and wellbeing
Our aim is to build a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace creating a sense of belonging for everyone, driving forward meaningful and positive change. We value differences and people from all walks of life and, together, we’ll build a stronger community. Our focus on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEI&B) and wellbeing empowers the colleague voice, encourages social connection and collaboration, and enables everyone to thrive in an inclusive environment.
We’re proud of the contributions our colleagues have made to communities and to our chosen charities. Our charity partners include Future First, and our 2026/2027 charity of choice Air Ambulances UK.
We encourage our colleagues to take their volunteering day, participate in personal fundraising activities, or group led initiatives such as our annual charity challenge and FUN Week.
More
Earlier this year, 65 colleagues came together to raise funds for our charity partner, where they took on an incredible 25-mile challenge in the stunning Lake District. Collectively, the team raised over £55,000 in support of Air Ambulances UK.
At Markerstudy we recognise that our strength lies in the diversity of our people. As an Executive team, we are personally committed to cultivating a working environment where our colleagues feel they belong, are valued, respected, and can be their authentic selves, which reflects the customers and communities
we serve.
Together, we are unified in supporting a culture that fosters innovation, creativity, and diverse approaches to problem-solving. We recognise diversity comes in many forms, including, but not limited to, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, educational and socio-economic background, disability, skills, tenure, geographic, and professional backgrounds.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEI&B) is an important part of our business strategy to ensure the long-term success of Markerstudy.
While we have made great progress, we understand true equity and inclusion require ongoing effort and a commitment to removing barriers.
We promise to:
Allocate resources for DEI&B activities.
Set clear goals and accountability measures.
Incorporate DEI&B objectives into performance measures.
Implement mandatory DEI&B training.
Review talent acquisition practices to ensure fairness.
Continuously learn and improve through feedback and measurement.
During 2025, we will collect data to understand our diversity profile, identify gaps and set meaningful diversity aims.
