Markerstudy Group has rounded off 2025 with a double award win at the Insurance Times Awards. At the prestigious event on 3rd December at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, Markerstudy was presented with the Gold trophy for ‘Sustainability Initiative of the Year’, with Clegg Gifford receiving Silver for ‘Excellence in Professional Development’.

Speaking of taking Gold for their sustainability initiatives, Lizzie Smith-Foreman, Chief Marketing, Communications and Sustainability Officer at Markerstudy Group, said: “In the last 12 months, we’ve had our near-term and long-term greenhouse gas emission reduction targets approved by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi); we’ve been awarded a Silver EcoVadis rating; we’ve encouraged 1,230 colleagues to volunteer 4,832 hours of their time; and raised an impressive £264,595 for good causes. It seemed only fitting to enter ourselves into this category and we’re absolutely delighted to have our hard work recognised. It’s the perfect way to end our year of sustainability success!”

The group’s other award wins this year include the ‘Claims Innovation of the Year - Broker’ category for Markerstudy Distribution and ‘Fraud Rising Star Award’ for the group’s Alisha Chahal at the Post Claims and Fraud Awards, the ‘ESG Broker Champion – Sustainability’ accolade at the UK Broker Awards, Auto Windscreens’ Managing Director James MacBeth being named in the Stand Out 50 Awards, Rearna Ackord winning a TechWomen100 Award and Markerstudy Distribution’s Denise Straughan winning ‘Service and Support Team Leader’ at the North East Contact Centre Awards.
