More than 3,500employees, the majority still working remotely from home, raised £4,746 for the charity, Mind, as part of the annual ‘Markerstudy Day’ celebrations on Friday 10 September.

During the day, employees were encouraged to celebrate the Group’s 20th anniversary and health and wellbeing theme by wearing green and taking part in online quizzes, fitness classes, cake bakes, picnics and virtual bingo, to name just a few of the fundraising activities.

Lizzie Smith-Foreman, Director of Marketing and Communications, and chair of the Group’s Motiv8 charity Committee, said: “With colleagues based across the UK, and many still working from home, it was considerably more challenging to ensure everyone felt part of this special day, but we have superb teams behind the scenes who worked incredibly hard to make it a success. It’s been a difficult 18 months for many, and it’s more important than ever that we continue to look out for each other, and support our communities and the environment.”

The amount raised by staff of £2,373 was doubled by the board of Directors, giving a grand total of £4,746 for Mind.
